Festival de yoga 2018

Cher yogi, yogini, Nous organisons le 10 et 11 mars 2018 sur Chambéry, au Manège, le Festival de Yoga afin de célébrer le dixième anniversaire de la création du forum de Yoga. A cette occasion nous souhaitons rendre cet événement encore plus accueillant que les autres années et accessible à tous en relevant encore une fois le défi de vous offrir entièrement gratuitement ces deux jours de fête du yoga ! Vous aurez accès à un grand nombre de cours, donnés par des professeurs du bassin Chambérien. Différents types de yoga seront représentés, et vous aurez à loisir la possibilité de pratiquer, d'échanger avec les enseignants, les autres élèves, dans une ambiance qui se veut simple et conviviale. Des conférences seront également données, 2 projections ciné-méditation, ainsi qu'un concert le samedi soir. Le programme est disponible sur le site internet du festival. N'hésitez pas à venir passer un moment sympa pour vous, et aussi c’est l'occasion d'initier enfin vos amis qui « hésitent et à qui cela ferait beaucoup de bien », ou votre famille, vos collègues...  Nous avons besoin de votre soutien. Jusqu’à présent nous avons pu organiser ces forums sur le partage et le don. Mais cette année l'envergure est autre. C'est pourquoi nous faisons particulièrement appel à chacun, pour que ces deux jours s'organisent dans cet état d'esprit solidaire et collectif. Les professeurs donnent leurs cours bénévolement. Les dépenses sont principalement celles des frais de fonctionnement du manège (la Mairie nous a offert la location!) et la communication. Deux possibilités pour prendre une part active et financière dans ce festival, ( 10 – 20 euros ou ce que vous pouvez... C'est avec une grande joie dans cette préparation qui nous rassemble et à la perspective de partager cette merveilleuse connaissance qu'est le yoga. Nous vous remercions par avance chaleureusement. Nicolas Delaigue is a concert performer and a teacher of Sitar and Classical Music of North India (Hindustani). He is today a reference in Europe in the performance and the teaching of this music. Due to his atypical path, and after years of full immersion, practice and total dedication to this art, he has succeeded in creating a link between India and west. Living in Lyon (France) since 2011, he have an activity of international concert performer - Europe, India, North Africa ... Nicolas Teach the sitar and the Indian music in public, private and associative structures mainly in France, and he is regularly invited in diverse cultural and educational centers for masterclass, workshops, educational support, jury member (Cité de la Musique - Paris, Higher National Conservatory for Music of Paris, CEFEDEM Rhône-Alpes, Conservatory of La Réunion, Conservatory of le Grand Chalon). Holder of the French State Diploma of Traditional Musics, Nicolas has a deep experience and reflection on the musical pedagogy, and he teaches the sitar and classical indian music all year long to numerous students in Lyon, and in Clermont-Ferrand (Horizon-Adema school).

Kuntal Roy is a young talented tabla player from India. Despite coming from a non-musical family and growing up in rural Bengal, he was initiated into tabla at an early age by Sri Narayan Chandra Haldar, a local tabla teacher from his village. He continued his study under Sri Radha Raman Nath, a senior disciple of Pandit Anindo Chatterjee from 1984, a year after he was accepted in Rama Krishna Mission, Rahara (a suburban town of Kolkata) for his academic studies. In the quest of furthering his knowledge, Kuntal became a disciple of the legendary tabla player and teacher Pandit Shankar Ghosh in 1991. He also receives frequent talim on tala layakari and concept of South Indian Rhythm from his guruji’s son, Sri Bikram Ghosh.

Melody, clarity and precision are some of the characteristics of Kuntal’s playing. Although early in his pursuit of professional performances, Kuntal has already given a number of solo as well as accompaniment performances with vocal and instrumental music on the stage in India and abroad. He has participated in percussion ensembles composed and directed by Sri Bikram Ghosh. He recently was on a highly successful concert tour of The United States of America providing tabla accompaniment to the renowned sitarist Gaurav Mazumdar in Fall of 2006. They received high accolades for their performances from appreciative audiences in venues such as Seattle, Spokane, Boise, Portland, and Cornell University among others. They have also appeared on the National Television in India. He has also accompanied notable artists including Smt. Suranjana Bose and Pandit Nayan Ghosh in concerts. He also teaches tabla to a number of students and conducts workshops.
